Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.

    Submitted contributions undergo a double-blind review. In order to make this possible, please:

    1. Submit an anonymized file without the authors' names.
    2. Once your paper is accepted please upload a final DOC, DOCX or RTF version with the authors' names in it. Please do not forget to add the authors at the beginning.

  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Acknowledgement has been provided in the manucript.

  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • Abtract in Bahasa Melayu and English for article written using Bahasa Melayu.
  • The manucript has been checked for plagiarism by the author. The similarity index must be less than 20%.

    The editors will recheck the similarity index using Turnitin. Manuscript that not pass the maximum similarity index will be returned to authors.

Author Guidelines

This advice is for authors intending to submit a manuscript to ITLJ. Before submitting an article to ITLJ, please ensure you have read and understood the focus and scope of the journal and that you have attended to the formatting of your manuscript. Submissions that do not comply will not be considered.

This journal accept article written in English and Bahasa Melayu

For article written in Bahasa Melayu, author must provide abstract in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Originality and length

The usual length of an ITLJ article is between 5000 and 8000 words, including abstract, figures, tables and references, but occasionally lengths outside this range are accepted. Submissions to ITLJ should be unpublished and not under consideration by another journal or for a conference proceedings. Conferences may arrange republication in ITLJ as a special recognition for an outstanding work. Please note that it is your responsibility to conform with any relevant conditions in your institution's research management procedures, for example, ethics committee approvals. 

Acknowledgement

Authors are required to provide acknowledgement to the sponsors or party whom they consider appropriate for acknowledgement at the end of the manuscript.

Review Process

The duration of review is 2 months. Involving 2 reviewers, using blind review approach.
